Mizuno MP-57 Irons Review

Overview

The Mizuno MP-57 Irons represent Mizuno's commitment to the mid to low handicapper.  The MP-57 is the first iron in the MP series with a full cavity back.  The result of this advancement is a significantly larger sweet spot than any of the previous MP series irons.

Notable Differentiators

Along with markedly increased forgiveness, the MP-57 irons offer an increased ball flight trajectory in longer irons coupled with a median trajectory in short irons.  Engineered using Mizuno’s patented Grain Flow Forging process, they deliver rock solid touch and extremely workability that the MP series has historically been known for.  Along with the remarkable combination of engineering insight that went into making the 2009 MP-57 version of the irons, they are classically styled to appeal to the eye of the better player.

The Mizuno site suggests the MP57s are actually for the very low to low hcappers. I’m off 8 and was recommended these. Why do you say they are “Mizuno’s commitment to the mid to high handicapper”?? Surely you mean mid to low.
