Nike Slingshot 4D Irons Review
The selling point of the Nike Slingshot 4D Irons is a simple but compelling one. If a golfer is looking for different results from a four-iron than a nine-iron as far as variables like distance and loft are concerned, shouldn't the clubs be designed to produce those specific outcomes?
That's what the Slingshot 4D Irons do. The slingback is positioned slightly differently on each of the clubheads to produce the desired ball flight. Each also has a different sole width, creating a progressive center of gravity and designed to produce higher shots that land softer.
Longer irons in the Nike Slingshot 4D series have a greater offset, leading to higher and straighter shots. The lower irons have a decreased offset, allowing for greater control. In addition, the clubheads are shaped slightly differently, in order to be both forgiving and accurate.
There are other irons that are a little more forgiving and a high handicapper might find the Nike SQ Sumo Irons a better fit. But the Nike Slingshot 4D Irons are plenty forgiving enough for most golfers, while offering a greater ability to shape shots and make the ball land exactly where it's supposed to on the green.

So far these have been working really well for me. I ended up getting a set off eBay for $500 and have had no problems. Love the handling, hitting the 4-iron is a breeze even though i have always struggled with it.
