Nike Slingshot HL Irons Review
For many golfers, long irons are the bane of their existence. The Nike Slingshot HL Mixed Set is designed to get those pesky clubs out of the bag and replace them with hybrids that many find easier to hit.
The set features a 3, 4 and 5 hybrid, the 6-9 irons, and the three wedges. It's a series of clubs that is easy to hit, particularly useful for golfers who have trouble getting the ball airborne with their longer irons or hitting the ball out of the short rough.
Like the Nike Slingshot 4D Irons, the Nike Slingshot HL Mixed Irons features the manufacturer's slingback design that helps each club to perform as golfers expect. In the hybrids, the weight is further back in the club to foster a higher MOI and greater forgiveness, and there is a slight offset that makes it easier to square the clubhead at impact. Moreover, the sole of the hybrid helps pick the ball cleanly out of the rough as well as the fairway, making a slightly mishit drive easier to overcome.

In the irons, the weight is adjusted slightly for each club to help generate the desired ball flight, and the soles of each iron are also different. The mid-range irons are wider for higher launches, while the short irons are thinner to allow for greater control. The combination makes the Nike Slingshot HL Mixed Irons appropriate for golfers at every level.
