Ping S59 Irons Review
The S59 is the first iron produced by Ping that is aimed squarely at the low handicap golfer. A tour-focused blade is the one thing that has been absent from their long and prestigious line of equipment, and now it is here.
The Ping S59, like many tour inspired blades, has a very thin top line, a relatively compact head, and a minimal offset to provide the look pros and more advanced players so desire. Such a configuration lends itself to a true alignment, and a more consistent setup experience regardless of shot type. Irrespective of the fact that the Ping S59 irons are meant for accomplished players, they still have a minimal cavity in their back. Even though they are manufactured via casting, the unique process they employ produces a feel very similar to that of a forged iron.
