Titleist 690.CB Irons Review
The Titleist 690.CB irons are the cavity backed sibling to the popular muscle backed 680.
Engineered with Titleist's progressive weight shelf design, the performance and weight distribution of the 690.CB irons varies from club to club based upon the type of iron being played. Long irons are weighted lower to offer an easier to hit, higher trajectory ball flight. Mid irons are neutral weighted for a more traditional trajectory. Short irons are weighted the highest to allow skilled players to drop their shots with precision and consistency. Subtle precision adjustments make the 690.CB irons perform to a high standard in a just about any surface condition. The club heads are forged from 1025 mild carbon steel and are finished in polished chrome, which provides a classic, conservative look so highly desired by amateurs and pros alike.
