Titleist AP1 Irons Review
Named to the Golf Digest 2009 Hot List, the Titleist AP1 Irons (Advanced Performance), are Titleist's latest entry into the market targeted towards the skilled golfer. Leveraging a multi-material design, the AP1 irons deliver a supreme combination of look, feel and performance.
Titleist AP1 Irons boast a unique dual cavity design that moves weight to the perimeter of the club head for increased forgiveness. The clubs are cast from 431 steel, with the bottom cavity of the Titleist AP1 iron comprised of a tungsten nickel box that moves the center of gravity exceptionally low for significant improvements in performance and flight path. The Titleist AP1's also integrate a central cross bar with an embedded elastomer cushion that not only offers enhanced rigidity behind the face, but also minimizes vibration for improved feel at impact.
